Triumph was formed as a bicycle manufacturing company by Siegfried Bettmann in Coventry in 1887. The first motorcycle was built in 1902. The rest is history.
Triumph Motorcycles Limited, the company, is a 100% privately owned company. The parent company is called Bloor Holdings Limited, which is owned by John Bloor. The spirit of Triumph, however, belongs to you, the rider. They have succeeded in becoming an industry leading manufacturer of thoroughly modern, incredibly fun, and extremely reliable motorcycles, designed as their motto suggests, for the ride.
Triumph’s Adventure Touring motorcycles have an engine displacement of 800cc to 1215cc, with all models using Triumph’s very special in-line triple engine. Go anywhere, anytime, over, under, and through the terrain, without ever missing a beat.
The Modern Classics are Triumph’s 900cc and 1200cc motorcycles that are built with full-on 60’s soul and the most up to date riding technology and rider aids. They are motorcycles that look like they are from the past, brimming with personality and reliability, but are as confidence and joy inspiring as a modern 21st century motorcycle should be.
The Cruiser family of Triumphs range in engine displacement from 900cc to 2300cc, with the common thread being unsurpassed comfort and ride quality.
The Triumph Roadsters are naked sport bikes, with engines straight from the track and filled with gnarly attitude for the street.
Triumph’s Supersport motorcycles are flawless executions of absolute engineering perfection, taking a 675cc triple engine and pushing it to the absolute limit. Built for the track and nasty on the street.
The Touring Triumph takes you anywhere you want to go, all in beautiful comfort and luxury.
Moto Guzzi Motorcycles
Moto Guzzi, Europe’s oldest continuously operating motorcycle manufacturer, was founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Como in the village of Mandello del Lario, Italy, where the motorcycles are still manufactured today. Since becoming a dealer for Moto Guzzi, we at Moto Richmond have come to learn just how well built, well designed and well respected these motorcycles are. With a personality all their own, it’s no longer a surprise when a Moto Guzzi owner to tell us they have owned anywhere from 5 to 12 Moto Guzzi’s. Their level of reliability and the fact that they are so unique in style has created an incredibly loyal collection of owners across the world.
The Moto Guzzi range of motorcycles begins with the iconic V7III. The V7III Stone simple, straightforward and elegant, carrying forward the heritage of Moto Guzzi into the modern era. It continues with the flashier, V7III Special, adding more color, chrome and style! Then comes the V7II Racer, which is the eye catching, gorgeously detailed Moto Guzzi take on the ever popular cafe racer. The newest in the V7 line, the Stornello (the page is under construction) is the Italian motorcycle manufacturers highly individualized interpretation of a scrambler. Nothing else on the road looks like a Moto Guzzi, and they’re take on classic styles like the cafe racer and the scrambler bring all of their unique sensibilities to bare.
Brand new for this year, Moto Guzzi has debuted the V9. Coming in two different iterations to satisfy the style requirements of different riders, the V9 Roamer and the V9 Bobber (pages to be added ASAP) are different in style, but are similar in the joy the bring to riding, the comfort they afford for long trips and motorcycles that handle shockingly well.
Then there’s the Griso. The Griso is a singular creature. A 1200cc, inverse twin should never feel this light, this comfortable or this easy to handle. Beyond that, it’s extremely rare to have a factory exhaust that sounds as awesome as it does on the Griso!
Moto Guzzi’s entry into the adventure touring category is the Stelvio NTX. With the same awesome motor as the Griso, the Stelvio is a comfortable, reliable way to meet and exceed all of your touring needs without ending up on another “me too” bike. When you’re at a meet up or a bike night, there definitely aren’t going to be 15 other people saying “me too!” when you say you own a Stelvio NTX.
There may be no category in which Moto Guzzi’s knack for bringing together beautiful design and functionality as their cruiser line. There isn’t another manufacturer making a cruiser that looks anything like these European bombshells. The Moto Guzzi Eldorado is a model with a long heritage, and they brought it back in 2015. It’s gorgeous, it’s got all the comfort you expect from a cruiser and the most torque in the class. The newest of their cruisers is the Audace. It shares the same engine as the Eldorado, but where the Eldorado is flashy, the Audace is muscular and minimal.
